Dwango’s live streaming service Nico Nico Live (Nico Nico Seimei Housou) has announced a free marathon broadcast of eight anime series during the Obon holiday period from August 8 to August 16, 2026. The lineup includes popular titles such as Dandadan, Kaiju No. 8 Season 2, and Jigoku Sensei Nube (Hell Teacher Nube).
The marathon will feature the first season of Dandadan (all 12 episodes), which has already been confirmed for a third TV anime season in 2027. Also included is Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 (11 episodes) along with the special episode “Hoshina no Kyuujitsu” (Hoshina’s Day Off). The second season originally aired in September 2025. Additionally, all 26 episodes of Jigoku Sensei Nube will be broadcast in two parts.
Other series in the lineup are Yuusha Kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004 Tai Keimu Kiroku (12 episodes), Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku (13 episodes), Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii Deshou ka (13 episodes), Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online II (12 episodes), and Watashi o Tabetai, Hitodenashi (13 episodes).
All broadcasts are free to watch without registration, and time-shift viewing is available once within seven days after the live airing.
