Japan Hallmark has announced its 2027 lineup of PEANUTS calendars and diaries, introducing two new formats: a tear-off calendar and a desk calendar with memo pad. The collection offers a wide range of sizes and styles for fans of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang.
A Beloved Comic Legacy
Charles M. Schulz began syndicating PEANUTS in seven U.S. newspapers on October 2, 1950. The strip follows the everyday lives of Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and their friends—the Peanuts gang—often with philosophical dialogue. Now past its 75th anniversary, the comic continues to be cherished worldwide.
New Calendar Formats
Two tear-off calendar sizes debut: the standard 6-gō size (185 × 120 mm) and a mini-mini version (45 × 30 mm). The warm paper texture and simple design highlight the characters’ charm. The mini-mini tear-off can be stuck onto notebooks or used for life logging after each day is torn off. Both come in a box, making them ideal gifts for the New Year season.
The memo desk calendar combines a 12-month calendar sheet with 200 memo sheets in a self-standing box design. Its simple look suits remote work desks where supplies are limited.
Wall and Desk Calendars
Wall calendars come in large sizes (Family Calendar, Two-Fold Large) and smaller sizes (Ring Calendar Small, Two-Fold Small). The Ring Calendar Small can be used as a wall or large desk calendar (2-way). The long-selling Sticker Calendar returns with two designs, handy for customizing notebooks.
Diaries
The A5 and A6 monthly diaries, perennial favorites, feature a sophisticated bicolor cover in purple pink and cream, with artwork of Snoopy stretching his ears. The compact Slim Diary, convenient for carrying or using as a second diary, includes two designs—one inspired by the 2027 zodiac sign of the sheep (hitsuji).
