Sousou no Frieren is a manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abetsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story takes place after the hero party defeats the Demon King, following the centuries-old elf mage Frieren as she journeys with new companions. The first TV anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, and the second season ran from January 2026. Shortly after the second season finale, a third season covering the Golden Land arc was announced for October 2027.
