A major Pokémon event titled “Legendary Research: Encounter Legendary Pokémon in Nihonbashi & Yaesu” will take place in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi and Yaesu districts from September 9 to November 29, 2026. The event will see more than 100 Pokémon appear across the area, including 19 legendary Pokémon as full-sized statues. The statues will be displayed at facilities managed by Mitsui Fudosan Group, such as Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, COREDO Muromachi Terrace, and Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. The Pokémon appearing around the city can be viewed for free, allowing visitors to enjoy a walk while encountering Pokémon.
In addition to the free displays, a paid puzzle-solving activity called “Pokémon Legend Research: Awaken the Legendary Research Report!” will be available. Participants purchase a kit and explore the Nihonbashi and Yaesu area, searching for hidden clues related to the legendary Pokémon. The puzzle content was created by RIDDLER, led by puzzle creator Matsumaru Ryogo, a well-known Pokémon fan.
Original event merchandise will be sold at a dedicated corner on the 5th floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. Items include a drawstring bag, folding fan, acrylic keychain, acrylic stand, mug cup, and T-shirt, all featuring newly drawn key visual art for the event.
