Lead actor Fumiya Takahashi shared his thoughts on playing Yoichi Isagi: “I’ve always loved the original manga, and I think the highlight is seeing Isagi understand his own egoism and grow. When I got the offer to play him in the live-action film, I was surprised. Honestly, about 30% pure happiness, 40% disbelief, and 30% nervousness and anxiety.”

The full interviews and more can be found in the combined 36/37 issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, on sale August 5, 2026.
