New goods featuring adorable sitting-themed illustrations from the TV anime Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) are now available. An advance sales fair kicked off on August 5, 2026, at six Animate × Sofmap stores nationwide and online.
The series is based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. It follows the elf mage Frieren, who lived over a thousand years and once defeated the Demon King alongside the hero party, as she embarks on a new journey with people she meets in a world after the hero’s death. The first TV anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, and the second season ran from January 2026. Shortly after the second season finale, a third season covering the Golden Land arc was announced for October 2027.
At the fair, products feature familiar characters such as Frieren, Fern, Stark, Himmel, Heiter, Eisen, and even the Mimic, all designed in a cute sitting pose as part of the “Puchikyun” series. The lineup includes mini acrylic stands, can badges, and collection cards (reservation items).
Charm key holders come with a round charm featuring motifs like hair ornaments or weapons unique to each character.
Playing card-shaped acrylic collections, acrylic shikishi (colored paper), and ID-style acrylic cards use anime illustrations, highlighting the characters’ cheerful expressions.
During the fair, customers who spend 3,000 yen (tax included) on eligible products at participating stores will receive one random original illustration sticker from a set of seven: Frieren, Fern, Stark, Himmel, Heiter, Eisen, and the Mimic.
The advance sales fair runs until August 23, 2026. New items are also available at the online shop Akiba☆Sofmap.
