Kyomaf 2026 Collaboration Visuals Feature Tokyo Revengers, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Alya-san and More – Event Details

Western Japan’s largest manga, anime, and game event, the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (Kyomaf) 2026, is set to take place on September 19 and 20, 2026. The event has unveiled special collaboration visuals featuring six anime series: Kaze o Tsugu Mono, Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Shu-iro no Kamen, Tokyo Revengers, Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, and Gyou Monogatari Karen Ouga. Alongside the visuals, new information on original goods, a character cafe area, and the 15th anniversary celebration projects has been announced.

Kyomaf Collaboration Visuals for All 6 Works Revealed

The Kyomaf collaboration visuals are specially created to combine the global appeal of manga, anime, and games with the historical and traditional culture of Kyoto. Each visual features newly drawn illustrations of characters from the six series, set against backgrounds of six famous Kyoto landmarks. This year’s theme commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Kan’ei imperial visit (Kan’ei Gyoko 400-sai) in 1626, when Tokugawa Iemitsu welcomed Emperor Go-Mizunoo to Nijo Castle with entertainment including Noh and waka poetry. The result is a set of beautiful visuals that highlight Kyoto’s vibrant culture.

At the venue, these collaboration visuals will be displayed and used on original goods available for purchase.

Ambassador Cafe and Character Cafe Menu

Inside the cafe restaurant “CAFE & BBQ TERRACE ABURU” at Miyakomesse, original menus created by this year’s “O-koshiyasu Ambassadors” Kaji Yuuki and Uesaka Sumire will be offered. Additionally, at the “Kyomaf Stand” in the character cafe area on the first floor of Miyakomesse, collaboration food for Kaze o Tsugu Mono—an original TV anime set in Kyoto scheduled to begin airing in January 2027—will be available.

Main Visual Goods and 15th Anniversary Items

The Kyomaf shop will carry goods featuring this year’s main visual, which includes Kyoto city’s PR character “Kyo no Tsukasa” and Kyoto City Transportation Bureau subway/bus support character “Uzumasa Moe”. The lineup ranges from standard favorites like acrylic stands and clear files to glittering can badges and other design-focused items.

For the 15th anniversary, a special “bromide-attached yatsuhashi” (traditional Kyoto sweet) will come with a bromide featuring mini character designs of Kyo no Tsukasa and Uzumasa Moe. Other 15th anniversary exclusive items include ticket clear files and jackets with the mini character designs, available only at the event.

15th Anniversary Projects: Ema Wishes, Ambassador Comments, and Diorama Spot

As part of the 15th anniversary projects (phases 11 to 13), the event announced a special ema (votive tablet) prayer project in collaboration with Heian Jingu, a comment project featuring past O-koshiyasu Ambassadors, and the installation of a “nuigurumi diorama spot” at Kyomaf.

Furthermore, the fourth project—the creation of mini character designs for Kyo no Tsukasa and Uzumasa Moe—has revealed its designs. Additionally, character greetings from the Kimetsu no Yaiba mini corps members Kamado Tanjiro and Kamado Nezuko will take place, along with family project details. Further updates are expected.
