Rilakkuma and SHIBUYA109 Shibuya store are teaming up for a special collaboration event titled “SHIBUYA109 × Rilakkuma Lab.” from August 14 to August 30, 2026. The event will feature original visuals of Rilakkuma displayed across the store, exclusive collaboration sweets, photo spots, and more.
About Rilakkuma
Rilakkuma is a bear in a costume who suddenly appeared at the home of office worker Kaoru-san and has been living there as a freeloader. Since debuting from San-X in September 2003, the character has maintained steady popularity.
Collaboration Sweets and Novelties
During the event period, original Rilakkuma visuals will be displayed on the exterior and interior of SHIBUYA109 Shibuya store. At the B2F “MOG MOG STAND,” four exclusive collaboration sweets will be available. Each purchase comes with an original acrylic carabiner (one type) as a novelty, while supplies last. Additionally, original uchiwa (fans) introducing the sweets will be distributed at the 1F entrance, and special Rilakkuma decorations will appear throughout MOG MOG STAND.
The four collaboration sweets are:
- GOKUGOKU Rilakkuma Lab Mango Strawberry Smoothie – 780 yen
- JOHNS ICE CREAM Rilakkuma Lab Gelato – 800 yen
- Marion Crepe Rilakkuma Lab Marble Ice Crepe – 1,100 yen
- Strawberry Fetish+ Rilakkuma Lab Exciting Colorful Ichigo Ame – 750 yen

Lucky Draw Event
From August 14 to 16, a lucky draw event will be held at the 3F elevator hall of SHIBUYA109 Shibuya store, giving participants a chance to receive an original trading card. The event runs from 11:00 to 20:00 or until cards run out. Each person can participate up to three times, and receipts from purchases made during the event period can be combined.
Greeting Event with Rilakkuma
On August 29, a special greeting event will allow fans to take commemorative photos with Rilakkuma. Sessions are scheduled for 13:00, 14:30, and 16:30. To participate, show a receipt for purchases of 3,000 yen (tax included) or more at the reception (2F COCO SPOT) starting at 10:00. One ticket per person, receipts can be combined, and only receipts from that day are valid. Staff will take photos with your smartphone, but no hugging or handshakes are allowed. The event ends when capacity is reached.
Photo Spots
Photo spots will be installed at the 1F stairs to 2F stairs and the 3F to 5F elevator halls from August 14 to 30.
