The official website for the television anime Shin Tennis no Oujisama: U-17 World Cup Kesshou Member Ketteisen has revealed additional cast members, new staff, a key visual, and the first promotional video. The sequel is set to premiere on October 1 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by TV Osaka and TV Aichi.

Theme Songs
Music group Aosu will perform the opening theme “Walls And Bridges,” while Junichi Suwabe and Hidenobu Kiuchi are performing the ending theme “Kinkanshoku phenomenal.” The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video.
Returning Staff
Returning staff includes Yoshinobu Tokumoto as director at animation studio M.S.C. Mitsutaka Hirota is serving as series composition, Akiharu Ishii is credited as character designer and chief animation director, and Chihiro Tamaki is composing the music.

Produced by Studio Kai and M.S.C, the U-17 World Cup television anime aired in 13 episodes in Summer 2022, followed by the latest season, U-17 World Cup Semifinal, in Fall 2024. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles and subsequently streamed an English dub.
Manga History
The original sports manga was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump between 1998 and 2008 and compiled into 42 volumes. The sequel manga began in Jump SQ the following year and ended serialization in the September 2026 issue. Shueisha published the 47th volume on June 4, with the 48th and final volume scheduled for release on September 4.
