Eiga Meitantei Precure! × Police Collaboration Unveils 7 Awareness Posters

“Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to 2-ri no Himitsu” (Movie Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of Two) has announced a collaboration with police departments across Japan, unveiling a total of seven awareness posters.

23rd Precure Series Heads to the Big Screen

“Meitantei Precure!” is the 23rd installment in the Precure series. The story begins when Meiji Anna, celebrating her 2027 birthday, meets a fairy named Pochitan and is enveloped in a mysterious light that sends her back in time to 1999. In that world, she encounters Kobayashi Mikuru, who aspires to be a detective, and a self-proclaimed genius doctor fairy, Jet-senpai. Anna decides to become a proper detective at the Kyatto Detective Agency, transforming into Meitantei Precure to recover clients’ precious belongings from the Phantom thief group and take on a variety of difficult cases.

The film’s first theatrical release opens nationwide on September 18. The newly announced awareness posters were produced in cooperation with the Metropolitan Police Department, Kanagawa Prefectural Police, Aichi Prefectural Police, Osaka Prefectural Police, Fukuoka Prefectural Police, and Hokkaido Police. Kanagawa Prefectural Police contributed two designs—one from the Traffic Division and one from the Life Safety Division—while each of the other departments provided one.

Posters to Appear at Approximately 7,000 Locations

Each poster features the film’s main visual, surrounded by messages on traffic safety rules and promises for children to protect themselves. The designs also incorporate copy and familiar lines inspired by “Meitantei Precure!” The posters are scheduled to be displayed sequentially at approximately 7,000 locations, including train stations, police facilities, and bulletin boards, starting August 23.

“Pochitan Miracle Light” Campaign Announced

The “Pochitan Miracle Light de Getto☆Odekake Campaign” has also been announced, offering various services at participating locations after watching the film.

From the film’s release date of September 18, presenting the “Pochitan Miracle Light” visitor gift at participating stores and commercial facilities will earn fans the campaign-exclusive novelty “Purikit Mirror Loupe★Clear Card,” along with store-specific perks and services. The campaign runs from September 18 (Friday) through October 12 (Monday, holiday). Note that campaign periods may vary by store, and all bonuses are limited in quantity and available while supplies last.

Story

One day, the rumored “X Mark Incident” occurs in town! When something is marked with an X, it stops working or becomes unusable, causing trouble for everyone. While investigating the incident, Anna and her friends meet a fairy client named Rain. His request: “Protect Karin from Damedame!” Guided by Rain, they arrive at the dreamlike “Karin’s Garden.” There they meet a girl named Karin and the fairy Alan, who watches over her. Alan and Rain clearly care deeply for Karin. As Anna and the others grow closer to Karin, they begin their investigation—but suddenly, Damedame appears in the peaceful garden. What exactly is Damedame? What secrets lie hidden in the mysterious garden? “Kimi to Idol Precure♪” and “Wandafuru Purikyua!” also join the adventure! Piece together the scattered clues and solve the mystery alongside “Meitantei Precure!” The answer awaits at the movie theater!
