TV anime Nintama Rantarou is teaming up with Lawson for a new collaboration event titled “Atsusa wo Futtobase! no Dan” (The Chapter of Blowing Away the Summer Heat), running from August 25, 2026, at Lawson stores nationwide. The event features original summer-themed illustrations of Inadera Rantarou, Settsu no Kirimaru, Fukutomi Shinbei, and many other beloved characters.

Based on the manga Rakudai Ninja Rantarou by Amako Soubee, which began serialization in Asahi Shogakusei Shinbun in 1986, the TV anime has been airing since 1993 and continues to be loved by a wide range of generations. Set in the Sengoku period, the story follows Rantarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbei—three ninja trainees—as they study at the Ninjutsu Academy and enjoy bright, fun, and humorous daily adventures.
In December 2024, the theatrical film Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou Dokutake Ninjutai Saikyou no Gunshi was released, adapting the popular novel Shousetsu Rakudai Ninja Rantarou Dokutake Ninjutai Saikyou no Gunshi. The film begins with Doi-sensei losing contact after heading to a duel with Tasogaredoki ninja Morozumi Sonamon, and unfolds a more serious story than usual for the series.
