To celebrate the release of Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten, a special collaboration menu is set to launch on August 28, 2026, at T・Joy theaters and other cinemas across Japan.
The Madoka Magica franchise began as a TV anime in 2011, following the story of ordinary middle school student Kaname Madoka and the magical girls born from wishes. The series received two compilation films in 2012 and the original film Hangyaku no Monogatari (Rebellion) in 2013. Now, the sequel and new beginning, Walpurgis no Kaiten, is set to premiere on August 28, 2026.
Glowing Popcorn Box
The Walpurgis no Kaiten Popcorn Box features Kaname Madoka on one side and Akemi Homura on the other, decorated in a stained-glass style. The box can be lit up from within, though batteries are not included.
Priced at 4,500 yen (tax included), the popcorn box will be available at T・Joy theaters starting August 28, 2026. Availability at other theaters may vary, so check with your local cinema for details.
Kyubey Clear Bottle
Exclusively at T・Joy theaters, the Kyubey Clear Bottle features a figure of Kyubey on the lid and the poster visual printed on the bottle itself. It will be sold for 1,900 yen (tax included) while supplies last.
Madoka Drink and Bonus
In addition, a special Madoka drink will be available for 750 yen (tax included). Customers who purchase the drink will receive a clear book cover featuring the poster or character visuals as a limited first-come bonus. The book cover comes in three random designs, so you won’t be able to choose which one you get.
