The TV anime Blue Lock has teamed up with the original brand poro-pop for a new line of playful merchandise. Pre-orders opened on August 26, 2026 (Wednesday) at 18:00 via FUKUYA ONLINE and Animate Online.
Blue Lock is based on the soccer manga by writer Kaneshiro Muneyuki and artist Nomura Yuusuke, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story follows the Blue Lock project, an initiative by the Japan Football Union to develop a striker who can lead the country to a FIFA World Cup victory. Three hundred high school forwards from across Japan are gathered to compete in a brutal survival battle for the right to become the nation’s top striker.
The series has gained massive popularity both in Japan and abroad thanks to its groundbreaking premise, egoistic characters with explosive personalities, and unpredictable plot twists. Since the TV anime began in 2022, the franchise has expanded into a 2024 theatrical anime, a smartphone game, and a stage adaptation. A live-action film was released on August 7, 2026, and a new TV anime series has been announced.
This collaboration with poro-pop brings a pop-and-cyber aesthetic to the world of Blue Lock, with items designed around game consoles and gadgets. The poro-pop line features thick acrylic mascots that are small, cute, and can be displayed standing up. Two newly drawn illustrations are included, with the egoists depicted graphically through dots and typography on a handheld game console motif.
The thick acrylic mascots can be stood up for display, and they also fit neatly into the series’ poro-pop Case and poro-pop Mini Case for storage. A new pouch is also available, allowing fans to show off their poro-pop items, other goods, or plushies while carrying them around. The pouch comes with a paracord strap in the colors of the egoists.
Puffy stickers featuring the newly drawn illustrations are also part of the lineup. These stickers have a glossy, squishy transparent resin finish.
As a bonus for pre-ordering collaboration goods at FUKUYA ONLINE, customers will receive one randomly selected trading card (10 types in total) for every 3,000 yen (tax included) spent.
