Fans of TV anime BANANA FISH have a fresh reason to celebrate: a new collection of original goods featuring Ash and Eiji enjoying a game of street basketball on the streets of New York is now available for pre-order. The items are being sold through the online shop Tomosuto, with orders open from September 4, 2026 at 12:00 JST.
The series, based on the manga by Yoshida Akimi serialized in Betsucomi from 1985 to 1994, follows Ash Lynx, the leader of a New York street gang, and Japanese boy Okumura Eiji as they investigate the mysterious word “Banana Fish.” The TV anime adaptation aired from July to December 2018.
This new lineup uses fresh illustrations of Ash, Eiji, Shorter, and Shin playing street basketball in a New York cityscape. Alongside standard items like acrylic stands and can badges, the collection also includes T-shirts.
The T-shirts come in two colors—white and black—featuring a monochrome, stylish design that combines the teaser visual with chibi character art.
The acrylic block measures 100mm by 148mm and depicts Ash, Eiji, Shorter, and Shin enjoying a street basketball game.
Clear files are available in two designs: a full-color version and a chibi version. The acrylic stand lineup includes four characters: Ash, Eiji, Shorter, and Shin.
Random can badges and random cards each come in six designs, adding a fun surprise element to the purchase.
As a special bonus, customers who spend 3,300 yen (tax included) per transaction during the order period will receive one postcard, randomly selected from five designs.
