
Animate has announced a new collection of Umamusume Pretty Derby merchandise featuring collaboration designs with local motifs from all 47 prefectures of Japan. The products are set to launch on September 26, 2026, with a special fair running at Animate stores nationwide and at the Animate online shop from the same day.

What is Umamusume Pretty Derby?
Umamusume Pretty Derby is a horse racing training simulation game in which players become rookie trainers at Tracen Academy, working with their assigned horse girls through daily training and communication to win races and achieve their dreams. The title is known for its deep gameplay, dramatic storylines, and spectacular live performances called Winning Live. It received the Excellence Award at the Japan Game Awards 2021.

New Product Lineup
The new lineup includes Character Badge Collections, Korotto Acrylic Figure Collections, eco bags, sports towels, and T-shirts, all designed with regional motifs from each of the 47 prefectures. Products are organized into groups A through E, with varying pack and box configurations.

Fair Details
From September 26 to October 25, 2026, Animate will hold a fair titled “Umamusume Pretty Derby: 47 Prefecture Local Derby in Animate” at all physical stores and on the Animate online shop. During the fair, customers who purchase or reserve eligible Umamusume Pretty Derby products will receive one bonus postcard (from a set of five designs) per transaction. Participating stores will also feature shelf decorations themed around prefecture-specific horse girls.
All items and the fair are scheduled to begin on September 26, 2026.
