The release of the “Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Pompompurin Hero Mascot” has been postponed. Originally scheduled for September 9, the item will now go on sale on September 15. Some stores will offer early sales starting September 9.
Why the Delay?
The delay is due to shipping delays caused by poor weather conditions. The set includes four flocked mascots celebrating Pompompurin’s 30th anniversary.
New Release Schedule
General sales begin September 15 at bookstores and online bookstores nationwide. The Sanrio Online Shop will also start selling the item sequentially. Early sales will be held at Kinokuniya Shinjuku Main Store and Kinokuniya Yokohama Sogo Store from September 9, and at select Sanrio shops and Sanrio corners in department stores from September 11.
Additionally, the item will be available at the venue merchandise corner of “Pompompurin Festival” held at Yokohama Red Brick Square on September 12 and 13.
Product Details
The set includes four flocked mascots: Pompompurin, Bagel, Scone, and Muffin. Pompompurin stands about 65mm tall, while the other three are each about 35mm. The set also comes with three postcards and one sticker. The price is 4,400 yen (tax included).
The “Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Pompompurin Hero Mascot” will be available for general sale from September 15.
