The Monogatari Series is getting a new addition to its figure lineup. A 1/7 scale figure of Oshino Shinobu, based on the cover illustration of Shinobumonogatari, is now in the works. The figure brings to life the striking visual created by illustrator VOFAN, with delicate sculpting and careful coloring.
About the Monogatari Series
The Monogatari Series is a novel series by Nisio Isin, first published by Kodansha in 2006. It follows protagonist Araragi Koyomi and his encounters with girls involved in supernatural “oddities.” The anime adaptation began with Bakemonogatari in 2009, and the franchise has continued to expand. A new episode, “Karun Oga” (業物語 かれんオウガ), is scheduled to air in winter 2026.
Figure Details
The figure captures Shinobu’s melancholic yet graceful expression, staying true to VOFAN’s signature airy atmosphere. The outfit features a delicate sheer effect, with her legs subtly visible through the fabric. The base is equally detailed, incorporating a mannequin, rock surfaces, and flowing water to evoke the fantastical and slightly unsettling world of Shinobumonogatari.
The figure is priced at 26,000 yen (tax included) and is scheduled for release in October 2027.
