Snow Man’s Sakuma Daisuke and singer Oishi Masayoshi are set to “co-star” in the TV anime Daiya no A actII -Second Season-, which begins airing in October. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, especially since Oishi had previously expressed his dream of working alongside Sakuma.
On September 8, 2026, Oishi updated his X (formerly Twitter) account with the message “叶っちまった” (It came true), quoting his own post from March 2026. In that earlier post, he wrote: “My recent dream is to someday be involved in the same anime work as Sakuma-kun!!!!!”
In the anime, Sakuma will voice the newly added character Saotome Shinichirou. Meanwhile, Oishi will perform the second cour ending theme as part of the unit OxT.
Fans have flooded social media with reactions such as “Kotodama is amazing! Congratulations!” “A dream collaboration with Sakkun!” “Ahhh, so precious!” “Congratulations, Oishi-san!
