The Animedia editorial team has revealed the contents of the October 2026 issue, which goes on sale September 10. With summer anime reaching their final stretch and a wealth of game features, this issue is designed for fans looking to ease out of the vacation season.
Eiga Meitantei Precure! Takes the Front Cover
The main cover features an original illustration of Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana from Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu. The same illustration is included as a bonus poster.
Inside, readers can enjoy a range of interviews with cast and staff: Chiga Hikari × Hasegawa Ikumi, Hondo Kaede × Higashiyama Nao, and Chiga Hikari × Kito Akari. Interviews with the Precure cast from both Wanpuri and Kimipuri are also featured. Director Ueda Hanako, screenwriter Narita Yoshimi, character designer and chief animation director Miyamoto Emiko, and producers Nakayama Mao and Tada Kanako all offer their perspectives. Production secrets behind the film’s original characters Karin, Alan, and Rain are also disclosed.
Genshin Takes the W Cover
The second cover spotlights Genshin, featuring an illustration of travelers and Anastasia. The feature also dives into the charm of Snezhnaya, the seventh nation. A double-sided poster and a detachable character card come with this section.

The Animedia October 2026 issue will be released on September 10, 2026 (Thursday) at 1,200 yen (body price 1,091 yen). It will come in A4 variant and will also be available in digital format. The magazine is published by IID, Inc. and sold by Gakken.
