Monchhichi-themed exclusive fashion items are now available at Aeon’s young casual wear store “Double Focus”. The collection features eight designs, including T-shirts, parkas, and sweat pants adorned with sushi, leopard print, and an animal music band.
Monchhichi is a plush toy released by Sekiguchi in 1974. Known for its pacifier pose and freckles, it has been loved worldwide, selling over 70 million units across more than 30 countries.
Leopard Print with a Heisei Retro Touch
The lineup includes the “9-Print Leopard Monchhichi Pullover” (3,278 yen), “Leopard Monchhichi Zip Parka” (4,378 yen), and “Leopard Monchhichi Sweat Pants” (3,278 yen). These designs give off a nostalgic Heisei-era feel.
Sushi and Animal Music Band Designs
For sushi fans, there’s the “Sushi Print Monchhichi Short-Sleeve T-Shirt” (2,178 yen) and the “9-Print Sushi Print Monchhichi Short-Sleeve T-Shirt” (2,178 yen).
Animal versions also appear: the “9-Print Animal Monchhichi Pullover” (3,278 yen) and the “Animal Music Band Monchhichi Zip Parka” (4,378 yen) feature Monchhichi as playful animal musicians.
Basic Sweat Pants and Availability
Rounding out the collection is the “Monchhichi Sweat Pants” (3,278 yen). All eight items are available in S, M, and L sizes and are unisex.
The collection launches on September 11, 2026, at approximately 140 Aeon and Aeon Style stores nationwide, as well as on Aeon Style Online.
