TV anime “BanG Dream! Yume ∞ Mita” has concluded its run, and fans are expressing their heartfelt thanks. Along with the finale, new visuals, live performance footage, and Blu-ray release details have been announced.
What is BanG Dream!?
BanG Dream! is a next-generation girls band project that links characters and live performances. It expands across anime, games, and real concerts, with bands such as Poppin’Party, Roselia, Morfonica, RAISE A SUILEN, MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica, and Yumegendai Myu Taipu performing live as their voice actresses.
Project Momentum
Celebrating its 11th anniversary on February 28, 2026, the project is currently airing the mini anime “Ganso! Bandori-chan” in 52 episodes over a year. A new film “BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora” is scheduled for fall 2026, with a sequel TV anime planned for January 2027, and the mobile game “BanG Dream! Our Notes” is also in the works.
Finale Reaction and Kidani’s Comment
After the final episode aired, Bushiroad President Kidani Takaaki posted on X: “After watching the anime, I feel that the BanG Dream! project is truly a historical drama.” His post drew a wave of gratitude from fans, with comments such as “this is the fruit of the president’s and the cast’s efforts,” “thank you for letting me meet such a wonderful work this summer,” “the characterization of Ora-chan was superb,” “please give us a second season,” “thank you for creating BanG Dream! New Visual and Live Footage
A new visual for Yumegendai Myu Taipu has been unveiled.
Additionally, the live performance footage from episode 13 has been released, featuring the songs “in my words” and “Ai wa Shoudou.”
Blu-ray Release Details
The jacket illustration for the Blu-ray lower volume, releasing on December 16, 2026, has been revealed, showing the five members in their episode 13 live outfits. The official website’s top page and character pages have also been updated to match the new visual.
The Blu-ray upper and lower volumes will be available on December 16, 2026, each priced at 19,800 yen (tax included). Product images for the two volumes are shown below.
