An Exciting Entrance with a Giant Pan Doroboo Balloon!

Upon entering, to your right, you’ll find panels introducing the heartwarming story of the picture book `Pan Doroboo` and showcasing adorable character illustrations. This setup helps visitors truly grasp the charm of the work and makes it easy for first-timers to understand the narrative right from the start.

Adjacent to this, a special photo spot allows you to capture memories with `Pan Doroboo`, `Nise Pan Doroboo`, and the enigmatic `Nazo no Furansupan`. It’s a fantastic chance to pose alongside your favorite characters!

Dominating the center of the venue is a massive, newly unveiled `Pan Doroboo` inflatable balloon! Its lovable, sideways glance is incredibly charming!

Attraction Experiences! Can You Get Exclusive Rewards?

In the attraction area at the back of the venue, you can try two exciting games: “Step” and “Ball Toss.”

The first game, “Step,” challenges you to make `Pan Doroboo` run to the goal by stepping in place. By doing so, `Pan Doroboo` moves from left to right. Successfully reaching the goal within the time limit means you clear the game!

The second game, “Ball Toss,” features three differently colored holes. Your goal is to throw matching colored balls into the corresponding holes. If you manage to get all the balls into their respective holes, you win! Clearing this game triggers a change in the “Mori no Pan-ya” (Forest Bakery) illustration behind it… You’ll have to visit the venue to discover what transformation awaits!

Clear either of these attractions, and you’ll receive a wonderful, venue-exclusive prize! Be sure to challenge yourself and grab one! Even if you don’t succeed on your first try, you can purchase additional tickets to keep playing.

Seal Rally and Puzzle Elements Utilizing the Entire Venue!

Throughout the event period, an exclusive seal rally is underway. Following the map on your rally sheet, you’ll search for posters placed at checkpoints throughout Ebisu Gaaden Pureisu, the event venue, and paste your stickers in the correct spots. Successfully completing the seal rally will earn you an original, event-exclusive sticker!

Additionally, puzzle panels are set up within the event venue, allowing you to enjoy solving `Pan Doroboo`-themed riddles. The difficulty is set to be easy, making it enjoyable for families with children. Solving all the puzzle panels will earn you an exclusive “Pan Doroboo 5th Anniversary Festival” postcard!

You can even answer the quiz online! Feel free to solve a few questions at home before heading to the venue. Please note that the reward for getting all questions correct can only be received by visiting the venue itself.

Talk Show by Author Shibata Keiko-sensei and Abundant Original Goods!

Beyond the main event attractions, the highly popular “Pan Doroboo Ehon Yomikikase Stage Event” (Picture Book Reading Stage Event) will be re-staged for two days only, on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17. What’s more, Shibata Keiko-sensei herself will be making an appearance at all performances for a special talk show!

Tickets for the stage event must be purchased separately. Purchasing a ticket includes exclusive postcards and coasters as special bonuses. Advance and same-day tickets for general admission appear to still be available, so be sure to check them out if you’re interested!
