To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Pokemon Red and Green, 3COINS is launching a lineup of Pokemon-themed lifestyle goods and accessories. The collection will hit stores across Japan on October 10, 2026, featuring 62 items ranging from tableware and stationery to bags, mini towels, and drawstring pouches.
Pokemon began its journey on February 27, 1996, with the Game Boy titles Pokemon Red and Green. Since then, it has become a global phenomenon, expanding into TV anime, films, trading cards, and countless merchandise lines. With more than 1,000 Pokemon species introduced over the years, the franchise reaches a major milestone in 2026 as it marks 30 years since that original release. This anniversary year has already been packed with special projects, and this new 3COINS collaboration continues the celebration.
The collection offers three distinct design themes, each bringing a different set of everyday items. Design 1 includes a mug (880 yen), a set of two small plates (770 yen), book-style memo pads (330 yen), a slide mirror (550 yen), a PVC pouch (330 yen), a drawstring pouch set (550 yen), and a three-pack of clear files (330 yen).
For Design 2, shoppers can find mini glasses (550 yen), a six-piece mini food container set (330 yen), a sticker set (550 yen), keychains (330 yen), a tote bag (1,100 yen), a pouch (660 yen), mini towels (330 yen), a bath towel (1,650 yen), and a pass case (660 yen).
Design 3 offers wall stickers (770 yen), a vinyl umbrella (990 yen), a shopping bag (550 yen), an eco bag (880 yen), and a tote bag (1,320 yen).
On the release day, October 10, entry to the Pokemon item section will be limited via an advance lottery system. In physical stores, purchases are limited to one of each item and color per transaction. The official online shop, PAL CLOSET, will allow up to three of each item and color per transaction.
With practical everyday goods designed around beloved Pokemon, this 30th anniversary collaboration invites fans to keep their favorite characters close—no matter the occasion.
