Rilakkuma & Sumikko Gurashi ‘Nuiphoto’ Series 2 Launches with Plush Photo Merch

San-X’s lovable characters Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi are back with the second wave of the “Nuiphoto” series, which turns real photos of plush toys into adorable design elements. This new drop brings a diverse assortment of practical goods to enjoy in daily life.

For the uninitiated, Rilakkuma is the ever-relaxed bear who lives with office worker Kaoru and friends Korilakkuma and Kiiroitori. The identity of whoever is inside the suit remains a mystery. Rilakkuma’s biggest concerns are everyday meals and snacks. A short anime produced by Production I.G has been airing since April 2026.

Sumikko Gurashi, created around the keyword “here is where I feel at home,” features a cast of slightly negative yet charming characters such as Shirokuma, Penguin?, Tonkatsu, Neko, Tokage, and Ebi Fry no Shippo. Beyond the TV anime “Sumikko Gurashi: Here is Where I Feel at Home,” the franchise has also seen four theatrical films to date.

The “Nuiphoto” series lets fans enjoy the plush toys’ facial expressions and texture through different items like keychains and mini tote bags. Collect them all for a fun addition to your everyday gear.

The lineup is rich with stationery: A4 clear holders, secret memos that come in envelopes, A6 mini index holders, stickers, and puffy “funifuni” stickers are all on offer.

In addition, the collection features hair clips with a cute puffy 3D feel, mini pouch collections that bring back popular themes from past series, a convenient mini tote bag with an inner pocket, and keychains that pair Rilakkuma and friends with their favorite foods.
