Tamagotchi is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a first-ever collaboration with fashion brand Maison de FLEUR, bringing a collection of embroidered bags and accessories that dress up the beloved virtual pet characters in ribbons and flowers. The lineup launches on September 22, 2026, at Maison de FLEUR stores nationwide and the official web store STRIPE CLUB.
Since Tamagotchi first debuted on November 23, 1996, as a “portable raising digital pet,” it has become a global phenomenon, with over 130 million units shipped worldwide as of March 2026 (according to Bandai). The franchise remains active with the latest device, Tamagotchi Paradise, released in July 2025.
For this special anniversary collaboration, six characters—Mametchi, Mimitchi, Memetchi, Makiko, Furawatchi, and Ichigotchi—are dressed up with Maison de FLEUR’s signature ribbons and floral motifs. A total of eight items are offered, including bags, pouches, a tissue case, a charm, and a handkerchief.
Embroidered Bags and Accessories
Two bag designs feature Tamagotchi characters depicted in embroidery. The square tote shows the characters peeking out from the Maison de FLEUR logo or riding on it.
The double ribbon tote is crafted from soft pastel fabric with embroidery in matching tones, highlighting the adorable pairs of Mametchi & Mimitchi, Memetchi & Makiko, and Furawatchi & Ichigotchi. The same embroidery design also appears on a round pouch.
Another set of items uses an original all-over pattern featuring Tamagotchi characters made up with ribbons, combined with roses, cakes, and candies. The 2Way tote, drawstring pouch, and tissue case are finished in soft pink with gold foil print accents for a feminine Maison de FLEUR look.
For fans of cuddly goods, a palm-sized plush charm with a satin ribbon is included, along with an embroidered towel handkerchief.
Release Information
The full collection includes three bag designs, two pouches, a tissue case, a charm, and a handkerchief—eight items in total. It will be available at Maison de FLEUR stores, the earth music & ecology Aeon Mall Okayama location that houses Maison de FLEUR, the official web store STRIPE CLUB, and ZOZOTOWN. Online sales begin at 12:00 noon on September 22, 2026.
