The anime Pan Dorobou is teaming up with Yamada Denki for a collaboration campaign running at Yamada Denki stores nationwide from October 3 to October 30, 2026. The promotion will offer limited goods based on newly drawn illustrations and original novelties featuring collaboration-exclusive designs.
Pan Dorobou is based on the picture book series by Shibata Keiko, which has surpassed 5 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story follows the mischievous but hard-to-hate great thief Pan Dorobou as he searches for delicious bread and causes trouble. The books are popular as humorous read-aloud picture books, starting with the first volume, Pan Dorobou, released in April 2020; seven volumes have been published. The anime is set to air on NHK E Tele from October 2026.
Yamada App Member Wallpapers
The campaign is limited to Yamada App members. During the promotion, members can receive original smartphone wallpapers. Six designs are available in total: three will be distributed from October 3 to October 16, and the other three from October 17 to October 30.
Lottery Bonus: Afternoon Tea Plate
Customers who spend at least 15,000 yen including tax and apply through the app can enter a lottery. One hundred winners will receive the limited Afternoon Tea Plate item. Applications are limited to one per person.
Purchase Novelties: Hand Towels and Mini Drawstring Bags
Customers who spend at least 2,000 yen including tax can receive an original collaboration-design item by presenting a coupon from the special page. The first wave, from October 3 to October 16, offers a hand towel. The second wave, from October 17 to October 30, offers a mini drawstring bag.
Both the hand towels and mini drawstring bags come in six designs. Only one bonus item can be given per transaction, and quantities are limited, so the offer ends when stock runs out. Designs cannot be selected.
Participating Stores and Notes
The campaign is available at Yamada Denki stores nationwide. However, it is not valid at LABI Hiroshima, YAMADA TAX FREE Narita Airport Terminal 1 Store, Matsuya, Best Denki, IDC Otsuka, or TSUKUMO. Receipts from multiple transactions cannot be combined.
