Haikyuu!! Waku Waku Bunkasai POP UP SHOP Opens October 23, 2026 in Tokyo, Osaka, Gifu, and Gunma

A new pop-up shop themed around the Haikyuu!! anime series will tour four cities in Japan, built around an all-new illustration of the cast enjoying a school cultural festival. “Haikyuu!! Waku Waku Bunkasai POP UP SHOP by Production I.G” opens first in Tokyo on October 23, 2026 (Friday), then moves on to Osaka, Gifu, and Gunma.

New artwork puts the cast at a cultural festival

The freshly drawn visual places eight characters, Hinata Shouyou and Kageyama Tobio among them, into the cheerful bustle of a school festival, with each of them enjoying the event in their own way. The announcement spotlights scenes such as Oikawa-san and Iwa-chan taking in a butler cafe, while the Miya brothers take the stage for a manzai comedy routine.

About the series

Furudate Haruichi’s Haikyuu!! is a landmark sports manga that ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2012 for eight and a half years, winning fans with its story of high school students pouring themselves into volleyball. Production I.G has handled the anime, with the television series airing from 2014 through December 2020. The February 2024 film Gekijouban Haikyuu!! Gomisuteba no Kessen drew worldwide box office earnings of more than 20 billion yen and took the Japan Academy Prize for Excellent Animation. A follow-up film, Gekijouban Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin, is set for 2027 and will depict Karasuno versus Kamomedai and the “small giant” showdown between Hinata and Hoshiumi.
