The TV anime adaptation of Soshiki no Shukuteki to Kekkon Shitara Mecha Amai has been officially confirmed. The announcement arrived together with anime character designs for the two leads, Saikawa Roushi and Saikawa Ritsuka, an anime announcement PV, and the main staff lineup for the project.
A sweet home rom-com between former enemies
The series is a sweet home love comedy currently published under Dengeki Bunko. It centers on the married life of Saikawa Roushi and Saikawa Ritsuka, two espers who once belonged to rival organizations and were bitter opponents.
Saikawa Roushi carries the alias Hanegari, while Ritsuka is the strongest esper of them all, known as the White Demon. After their organizations disbanded, the pair somehow ended up dating and then married. These days they are such a devoted couple that they share a goodbye kiss at the front door every morning.
The husband, however, has a single worry: he has never once shared a bed with his wife. A married man who is still a virgin, he keeps desperately trying to get closer to his reserved wife while being dragged into one trouble after another.

To celebrate the TV anime, a congratulatory comment and illustration arrived from original author Arizou Rito and original illustrator Hayashi Kei.
Arizou Rito (original author)
This time, the Soshiki no Shukuteki series has reached an anime adaptation. Since it was originally created as a single-volume complete story, I am very surprised. I would like to use this occasion to express my deep gratitude and thanks to former editor-in-chief Anami, who launched the project with me; my current editor Tabata; Hayashi Kei and Shiime, who draw wonderful illustrations and manga for every volume; everyone who has been involved with the anime; and above all the readers who have supported us up to this point.
Hayashi Kei (original illustrator)
Thank you for the anime adaptation of Soshiki no Shukuteki to Kekkon Shitara Mecha Amai, and congratulations! The cute situations for Ritsuka that I could not draw in the illustrations were a joy to enjoy through Shiime-sensei’s comic adaptation, and on top of that we might get to see them in anime too…! As a fan of the work, I am looking forward to what comes next!
Novel and manga releases
The original novel’s volumes 1 through 4 are currently on sale, with the latest volume 5 scheduled for release on November 10, 2026. The manga adaptation’s volumes 1 and 2 are also on sale.
