Hyakuyoufu Season 3: Keishi-hen Reveals Episode 1 Nenge Preview for October 7, 2026 Premiere

The Autumn 2026 anime Hyakuyoufu Season 3: Keishi-hen has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 1, “Nenge (Part 1)” (拈花（上）). The episode is set to begin airing on October 7, 2026 (Wednesday).

Hyakuyoufu Season 3: Keishi-hen is a new season of the hit series Hyakuyoufu, which has recorded more than 660 million total views on the Chinese streaming service bilibili. Set in ancient China, it follows Touyou, a doctor who specializes in youkai, and her companions as they travel and form connections that cross species.

In Japan, Fuji TV and bilibili’s anime slot “B8station” aired the Japanese-dubbed first season from January 2024 and the second season from October of the same year, drawing attention. The Japanese dub cast continues from Seasons 1 and 2: Higashiyama Nao as Touyou, Murase Ayumu as Moya (the young monk), and Kasai Kengo as Ryuu Koushi. Kamiya Hiroshi joins as Shi Kyouran, Ono Daisuke as Shi Seien, and Nakaya Kazuhiro as Fuumuraku.

A Journey to Heal Youkai and Hear Their Hearts

In ancient China, Touyou, a doctor specializing in youkai, travels with Moya, the young monk; Gungun, a gray fox; and Ryuu Koushi, a nobleman who is actually a giant serpent. Together they search for the lost “Hyakuyoufu” while saving youkai in various places. Touyou rings the gold bell on her wrist and listens to the voices in her patients’ hearts as she treats them.

What she glimpses are pure and earnest wishes: “I want to live” and “I want to be with someone.” Through repeated meetings and partings, the spirit doctor Touyou heals their wounds. The journey to know one hundred youkai and one hundred hearts begins again.

Episode 1 “Nenge (Part 1)” Synopsis

Touyou and her companions arrive in Keishi in search of the “Hyakuyoufu.” Soon after arriving, Touyou wins a large sum of money at a gambling den, but a thief steals it.

The man who catches the thief is named Fuumuraku. As he turns to leave, Touyou sees the form of a certain youkai in his back.

After recovering the money, Touyou and the others enjoy a meal. However, a disturbance breaks out at the shop, and Touyou is taken hostage…
