Voice actress Nanase Tsumugi’s first photobook now has an official title: Nanase Tsumugi 1st Photobook Tsumugi. Along with the title announcement, three different cover designs have been unveiled ahead of the book’s release on October 30, 2026.
A photobook that follows a dramatic hair change
In spring 2026, Nanase cut off the very long hair she had grown down to below her knees, switching to a short style. This photobook serves as a record of that transitional period, tracing her look from long hair to short hair.
The long-hair portion of the shoot features a range of conceptual styling and settings, including gothic lolita, kimono, Chinese dress, and Y2K-inspired looks. After the cut, the book moves into outfits evoking a Western boy, animal-themed costumes, and a large number of natural cuts such as loungewear and softly styled one-piece dresses. Photographs capturing the actual moment her hair was cut are also included.
Three covers for three editions
Each edition of the photobook carries its own cover image. The regular edition uses a shot filled with a sense of translucency, the Infosquare limited cover edition features an image defined by a pair of glasses placed in the foreground and a white shirt, and the Amazon limited cover edition shows Nanase in a gothic and lolita outfit.
