Voice actress Iwami Manaka, known for roles such as Honda Tooru in Fruits Basket and Kurokawa Akane in Oshi no Ko, has announced that she has married and given birth to her first child.
The announcement came on October 13, 2026, at the beginning of her radio program Iwami Manaka no Rajio Tekuteku, where she serves as host. Her agency, Raccoon Dog, also posted a handwritten message on its official website.
Message shared on radio and X
According to her X (formerly Twitter) post, Iwami said she took the opening moments of the radio show to speak about something she wanted to tell listeners directly. In the handwritten message, titled “Report,” she wrote, “Although this is a personal matter, I have gotten married and given birth to my first child.”
She explained that it was her first experience, so she had some anxiety, and she decided to share the news after the birth was safely completed and both mother and child had settled.
Iwami also thanked those involved and her fans. The message ended with her hope to continue cherishing her connections to each work and to grow both as a person and as a performer, along with a request for continued support.
