The 2026 Sanrio Character Awards recorded 70,647,379 votes in total, the highest ever and 112% of the previous year’s count. Pompompurin took first place with more than 7 million votes during its 30th anniversary year, winning for the second consecutive year and the fifth time overall.
Cinnamoroll, which had led the first preliminary ranking, placed second. Pochacco came third, followed by Kuromi in fourth and Hello Kitty in fifth. The results highlighted the ongoing popularity of characters loved by fans around the world.
Fluffy Sagara Embroidery and Lamé Logos
The parkas feature fluffy sagara embroidery of each character. The logo sections are accented with lamé for a sparkling finish. On the front, the Sanrio characters are embroidered in a munching pose.
