Orders for the sold-out EVANGELION MA-1 REMODEL by AVIREX are returning. The official Evangelion project RADIO EVA and AVIREX have announced an additional production run of their collaboration flight jacket.
A collaboration shaped by the Evangelion units
Shin Seiki Evangelion began airing in 1995 as an SF robot anime series. It follows 14-year-old boys and girls who become pilots of the multipurpose humanoid decisive weapon “Evangelion” and fight the mysterious enemy known as the Angels. Beyond action, its weighty story explores the characters’ inner lives and conflicts while moving toward the truth of the world, earning immense popularity in Japan and overseas and causing a social phenomenon.
The franchise has developed in many forms, including the TV anime series, the old theatrical films, and the Evangelion Shin Gekijouban series, which concluded with Shin Evangelion Gekijouban. In February 2026, the first festival event marking its 30th anniversary, “EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION,” was held. A completely new series was announced there, and further news is awaited.
The jacket is based on AVIREX’s “MA-1 REMODEL MARKⅡ” and is a special model themed after Evangelion units. Black evokes Unit-01, red evokes Unit-02, and navy evokes Mark.06, with each color finished in a design that follows the respective unit.
Military detail meets the Evangelion worldview
The hood has a cowhide leather patch and can be detached. The jacket also uses lining and reflector tape matched to each unit’s color, with stencil prints applied throughout. It blends the rugged look of military gear with the world of the series.

Additional production order period
Orders for the additional production run begin on October 16, 2026 at 11:00 via RADIO EVA ONLINE and the AVIREX official online store. Quantities are limited for every color and size.
