Bungou Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE 10th Anniversary Revival Opens December 25

The 10th-anniversary revival of Bungou Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE will begin on December 25, 2026, at 30 theaters across Japan for a limited run. Online Mubichike advance tickets went on sale on October 18 and will remain available through December 24, and details have also been announced for a collaboration with the Dazai Osamu Memorial Museum “Shayoukan” in Goshogawara, Aomori Prefecture.

A 10th-anniversary return to the big screen

Bungou Stray Dogs follows characters bearing the names of real-life literary figures as they fight using their own special abilities. The TV anime marked its 10th anniversary in 2026.

DEAD APPLE tells a completely new story set six years after the Dragon Head Conflict, which brought a bloody storm to Yokohama’s underworld. Amid an inexplicable “fog,” a string of ability-user suicides occurs, with each victim taking their own life using their power. The Armed Detective Agency, to which protagonist Nakajima Atsushi belongs, moves to secure the enigmatic ability user Shibusawa Tatsuhiko, who is suspected of involvement.

Advance ticket bonuses

Online Mubichike advance tickets are available from October 18 to December 24. Buyers will receive a digital smartphone wallpaper using the key visual. Those who use the advance ticket during the screening period will receive a Mubichike digital card as a viewing bonus.

The digital card’s design will change by date: the standard key visual from December 25 to December 31, 2026; a New Year’s card version from January 1 to January 7, 2027; and the standard design again from January 8 onward.

Shayoukan collaboration in Aomori

In Goshogawara, Aomori Prefecture—Dazai Osamu’s birthplace—the event “Bungou Stray Dogs × Dazai Osamu Memorial Museum ‘Shayoukan’: Traveling with Dazai” will run from January 23 to April 18, 2027. The program is centered on a special exhibition at Shayoukan and is planned to include a citywide stamp rally, a collaboration with Tsugaru Railway, a special talk show, a collaboration tour, and original goods sales. Details for each project will be announced in late November.

ABEMA stream for Season 3

ABEMA will stream all of TV anime Season 3 (episodes 26–37) in one go starting October 19 at 17:00. A two-week archive will also be available.
