Houshou Marine, the hololive VTuber, will not appear in “hololive RECORDS MUSIC STAGE 2027” on January 10, 2027, Hololive Production announced. The event’s DAY2 will instead feature Tsunomaki Watame.

The official Hololive Production X account posted a notice titled “hololive RECORDS MUSIC STAGE 2027 DAY2 Houshou Marine Appearance Withdrawal and Tsunomaki Watame Appearance Confirmed.” The statement explained that Marine will step back to focus on treatment for vocal cord nodules. It said that discussions with Marine, including about her throat condition, had been held repeatedly, but organizers judged that a full-condition performance would be difficult.
In the same announcement, Tsunomaki Watame was confirmed as an addition to DAY2.
Handwritten message to fans
Marine also shared a handwritten message addressed “To everyone” on her X account. “I’m sorry that I had to decline this live,” she wrote. “I really, really wanted to appear, and I wanted to meet you at the venue.” She added, “For now, I’ll focus on recovering properly and will make sure I’m in full shape so I can meet you on the next stage!”
