A new Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card figure is giving fans a look at Kinomoto Sakura in mid-flight. The 1/7-scale piece, titled Kinomoto Sakura -soar-, shows Sakura holding the Dream Staff as she rises into the air, with the character’s bright expression and energetic pose forming the centerpiece.
Preorders are set to begin at hobby shops and online stores across Japan on October 24, 2026 (Saturday). The figure will also be available to reserve through the EC site FAN+Life from October 26, 2026 (Monday). The price is 39,600 yen (tax included), with shipping scheduled for July 2027.
A Cardcaptor Sakura figure built around motion
Cardcaptor Sakura was serialized in the shoujo manga magazine Nakayoshi from June 1996 to August 2000. The story follows Kinomoto Sakura as she works as a Cardcaptor to collect the Clow Cards, which are said to bring disaster to the world. The anime aired on NHK from 1998 to 2000: the first and second seasons formed the Clow Card arc, and the third season formed the Sakura Card arc. In 2023, the anime marked its 25th anniversary, and production of a sequel to the Clear Card anime was announced.
For this figure, Sakura’s pose is modeled as she lifts the Dream Staff and soars upward. Her star-scattered costume is treated with attention to the spread of the skirt and the fine details of its decorations, giving the outfit a lively sense of movement.
Color, clear parts, and a detailed base
Sakura’s bright presence is expressed through vivid, delicate gradations and varied coloring that uses clear parts. The base features a magic circle and marguerite flowers, adding to the figure’s dynamic volume and connecting the display to the world of the series.
