Miyano Mamoru’s Nippon Broadcasting radio program Miyano Mamoru no with RADIO held its event “with MAMO~STAR~” on October 25, 2026 at Yokohama Arena. The night welcomed Kocchi no Kento, comedy duo COWCOW, comedy duo Member, and secret guest Koyama Tomohiro for special segments and collaborations.

The opening number was Miyano’s “Beautiful Night.” Dressed in a full tuxedo and leather shoes, he appeared on the venue’s second-floor level and moved to the first floor while singing. An illuminated mama-chari bicycle, “Jitensha☆Ryuuseigou,” then appeared. Miyano, visibly flustered and asking “This is embarrassing!” and “Is this really okay?”, pedaled around the perimeter of the venue.
During the song’s big chorus, he jumped on a trampoline and attempted to catch a star suspended in the air above the stage. The staging was based on fan reactions from the September Instagram Live “In STAR Live.” His outfit was the most extravagant option, but instead of the trolley he had wanted, his means of travel became the mama-chari. “I’ve never seen the star of an event like this!” Miyano said with a wry smile. “Usually when I go near everyone, it’s a trolley, right? This time it was a mama-chari, so I adjusted the speed and pedaled myself!” He also joked about the star catch: “If the staff would lower the star a little more, I could reach it!”
Miyano described “with MAMO” as a project for creating new entertainment with people he wants to meet or work with. He also mentioned Takahashi Fumiya, who handled the pre-show narration. Miyano recalled that when he appeared on Takahashi’s radio program, Takahashi had eagerly said he wanted to take part in this event. This time, scheduling meant Takahashi participated through pre-recorded narration, and Miyano thanked him: “Fumiya-kun, thank you!”
As for the event title “STAR,” Miyano called it “a word that symbolizes Miyano Mamoru this year.” He cited connections to various “stars,” including his appearance in Gekidan☆Shinkansen and “ST☆RISH,” and said, “If I can ‘with’ the people I admire and deliver an even more radiant stage, I’d be happy.” He added, “I hope we can create a sparkling night together!”
The first guest was comedy duo Member. They performed “Uragoe,” a song-comedy piece blending music and manzai. Miyano reacted with surprise: “What are you doing at Yokohama Arena! This isn’t something comedians should do!” During the routine, audience members waved penlights, and the two members were excited: “This is the first time we’ve had penlights waved for us like this. I thought the routine might fall apart!” Miyano, smiling broadly, said, “It was a huge laugh!” He also praised the completeness of the music used in the routine: “I was impressed by the track-making. Only people who make music could come up with this.” It was revealed that Yamaguchi, who created the routine, has no musical roots and originally performed standard manzai. The two, classmates since elementary school, showed sharp back-and-forth, and Miyano was impressed: “Your wavelengths match!”
To “with” Member, Miyano and the duo formed “Mamo Member” and performed a collaboration routine based on shiritori. It was a special version incorporating the name of a character Miyano had played. Miyano was moved: “You made it for me! I was happy!” He said, “This is fun! I want people to try this at school or work as a start.” They then challenged an “improvisational shiritori” involving the audience. The three onstage linked words on the spot, and if Miyano could finish with a word ending in “ri,” the whole venue would sing the familiar phrase “ringo, gorilla, rappa, paseri” together.
According to the duo, the challenge had never succeeded before, and they hoped “a star like Miyano-san” could make it work. But when it began, Yamaguchi, not Miyano, blurted out a “ri” at an unexpected moment—a “false start ‘ri’”—sending the venue into laughter. On the retry, Yamaguchi failed again, saying, “The trauma of the earlier paseri came back.” The segment ended without a single success, making for an unexpectedly hilarious collaboration.

Artist Kocchi no Kento appeared next. After singing “Kekka Orai,” Miyano excitedly took the stage: “Cool! I love it!” He introduced him with “Kocchi no Kento-san has come!” From a talk about what Kocchi no Kento is usually called, Miyano decided to call him “Kochiken,” and their conversation began.
Although Kocchi no Kento had handled theme songs for Miyano’s works, this day marked their first meeting. Their long-awaited “with” came together in “Goron to Doron”; the two matched not only vocals but also dance, and after the performance they exchanged a warm hug. Miyano burst with joy: “I’m happy! The best!” Looking back on the stage so far, he smiled: “I was able to show my artist side, too. I did manzai, jumped on a trampoline, and was made to ride a bicycle around (laughs). I finally got to show my artist side!”
Kocchi no Kento said he liked Miyano “as a person” and proposed a takoyaki party at his home as something they should do together. Miyano immediately replied, “I’ll go, I’ll go!” The two hit it off as if they had not just met. At the end, Kocchi no Kento performed his big hit “Hai Yorokonde.” He called out, “Please dance with me during the chorus!” Green penlights swayed in the audience, turning Yokohama Arena into Kocchi no Kento’s image color, green, for a vibrant unified stage.

Next was a collaboration with comedy duo COWCOW. The three appeared in gym uniforms, drawing screams from the venue. They performed “Volleyball,” a skit set in a girls’ volleyball club. COWCOW’s two members played seniors and Miyano played a junior, but Miyano’s chest was stuffed with more than twice as much padding as theirs, and he created a “zettai ryouiki” with socks, making his entrance full of comedic points. Miyano’s freewheeling ad-libs pushed the skit away from the script.

After the skit, Miyano confessed that he truly loved COWCOW and had watched them for a long time. “We appeared together on the program Nino-san, and we even performed a routine together,” he said. This appearance came from Miyano’s wish to meet them, and he enthusiastically added, “I love your routine videos. I also love the brass band club routine and wanted to do it together.” When Tada tried to respond, “That’s for another time…,” audience expectations pushed them to perform a little of the “brass band club” routine on the spot. Miyano laughed heartily at the sight. At Miyano’s request, the three also performed the “fighting routine.” The audience was kept in a whirl of laughter by the comic exchanges.
Tada said, “If you invite us next time,” and Yoshi added, “If you could appear at our live show, too,” both hoping to work together again. Miyano was positive: “I could see a picture of the three of us doing this from now on. Let’s do it again somewhere!” Yoshi then suggested, “Maybe on an AEON Mall stage,” and Miyano was startled: “Not a solo show, but an event booking!?” Still, he seemed enthusiastic: “I want to try things I’ve never done, so I’d like to do an AEON Mall tour!” He called out, “Next, let’s meet at AEON Malls across the country!” closing the segment with plenty of humor.
Miyano and the guests then gathered onstage for the “with MAMO Chorus” segment, which had been well received at the previous event. Saitama Sakae High School Chorus Club joined, and together with the audience they sang “Tsubasa o Kudasai,” the assigned song decided through “In STAR Live.” As the beautiful harmony filled Yokohama Arena, Miyano was moved: “Wonderful! What a lovely song. It was the best!” He added, “We can become this united. Even though we never practiced once (laughs).”
Then came the “Mind Vogel Club” project Miyano had discussed on the radio. Though he had said he liked mountain climbing but did not climb and had never climbed, for this event he had even produced an original “Mind Vogel Club” towel. In a video narration, he declared, “Tonight, I will finally climb a mountain!” and appeared onstage in climbing gear. “Let’s bring out a mountain at Yokohama Arena today!” he called. When Miyano said “Mind!”, the audience responded “Vogel!” while making mountain shapes with both hands. A giant mountain appeared on the screen behind the stage. Though Miyano was hit by a storm, he continued climbing with the audience’s support and successfully reached the summit.

But the moment he planted a flag at the summit, the mountain began to move with a rumble, and secret guest Koyama Tomohiro appeared from the stage! “A god has descended from the mountain!” Miyano said in surprise. Koyama greeted him confidently: “Hello, I’m the mountain god, Koyama Tomohiro! I was called by Mind Vogel.” Miyano was impressed by his adaptability: “He’s already accepted the setting. What amazing adaptability!”

Miyano and Koyama had co-starred in the stage play Akechiko! ~Jouki no Kuro Diamond, Aruiwa Kyouki no Shima~, and Koyama had also appeared as a guest on Miyano Mamoru no with RADIO. Miyano looked back on their stage days: “We spent a difficult time, fought through it, and went beyond best friends to family. Beyond family, we were one body and soul!” The two, who played buddies in the stage play, also shared backstage stories about ad-libs. Koyama said, “Mamo-chan does lots of ad-libs that aren’t in the script. Watching the volleyball skit earlier, I thought I was Mamo-chan’s libero, and I was going to pick everything up (laughs).” He even simulated multiple ways Miyano might speak before standing onstage, and Miyano praised Koyama’s responsiveness. Their exchange showed deep mutual trust.

The first “with” between the two was Miyano’s song “Kiss×Kiss.” Miyano called out, “Please receive Kami-chan’s flying kiss!” They then rode a luxurious trolley, and Miyano said, “I’m going to deliver kisses near everyone!” As the two circled the venue, Yokohama Arena was wrapped in high-pitched cheers, and Miyano took off his hat to Koyama’s idol presence.
Miyano then said, “I can do various ‘with’ projects with Kami-chan, but because it’s the two of us, I want to show a different ‘with’.” They announced another collaboration. Although voices had praised their harmony during Akechiko!, they had not had a proper duet song, so the two discussed and chose Inoue Yosui and Anzen Chitai’s classic “Natsu no Owari no Harmony.” Miyano said, “We spent an intense summer, so I want to sing this song and bring it to a close, then head toward autumn.” The two layered their voices in perfect sync and captivated Yokohama Arena with their harmony.
In the ending, all of the day’s performers gathered onstage. COWCOW presented “Atari Mamo Taiso,” a routine they had prepared for the day by collecting Miyano’s “obvious information.” Everyone watched and laughed uproariously. The routine revealed Miyano’s real self one after another: “Clap your hands loudly and laugh,” “Talk too much on the radio and your song gets cut,” “When drunk, grip the oshibori.” Miyano was delighted: “Amazing! You really made it properly!” He also quipped, “The ‘when drunk, grip the oshibori’ part is definitely information from my manager!”
When Miyano said contentedly, “I have nothing left undone,” Koyama pointed out, “There is! Mamo-chan, you’re a star, so you have to get that.” They decided to make another attempt to catch the star suspended in the air that he had failed to catch in the opening. Miyano retried with his song “Jump Shite Mite.” “If everyone jumps with me, the vibration will make me jump too, and I might catch it!” he called. Star-shaped penlights glowed in the audience, and he was full of spirit: “With this many stars, I might be able to get it!” As the audience sang and jumped, Miyano flew into the air and finally caught the star! The challenge that had continued from the opening succeeded, and deafening cheers echoed through Yokohama Arena.

Finally, Miyano thanked the guests: “Thank you for a wonderful time!” He also sent a message to the audience: “Thanks to everyone, we were able to make such a wonderful event!” “Let’s meet again! I’ll keep being everyone’s star! I’ll be your landmark!” he promised strongly, bringing the special day to a close.
