About the Series: Gotoubun no Hanayome
Gotoubun no Hanayome (also known as *The Quintessential Quintuplets*) is a charming romantic comedy manga that captivated readers in “Weekly Shounen Magazine.” The story follows Uesugi Fuutarou, a brilliant high school student with top grades, who takes on the daunting task of tutoring the Nakano-ke’s five sisters. These adorable quintuplets are on the verge of failing out of high school due to their dislike for studying, and Fuutarou’s mission is to guide them all the way to graduation.
The TV anime adaptation first premiered in 2019. The latest installment, Gotoubun no Hanayome* (referred to with an asterisk), brought a heartwarming new chapter depicting Fuutarou’s honeymoon with the quintuplets. This special episode was released in theaters in September 2024 and later broadcast on terrestrial television in December of the same year.
