Who is Your Favorite Vampire Character? Survey Closes November 10th
Anime! Anime! is holding a reader survey titled “Who is your favorite vampire character?” for the first time in three years. The deadline is November 10th.
The Fall 2025 anime season is set to feature several titles with vampire characters, including Chanto Suenai Kyuuketsuki-chan (which can be translated as The Vampire-chan Who Can’t Suck Properly) and Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26.
Vampires, who famously feast on human blood, are a beloved and familiar presence in anime. From boasting near-immortality and creating throngs of kin to transforming into bats and seamlessly blending into human society… they present a diverse array of personas, ranging from their classic depictions to modern interpretations, depending on the work.
That’s why Anime! Anime! is holding a reader survey for the first time in three years, asking “Who is your favorite vampire character?” We invite you to tell us which character comes to mind in a free-response format.

*Please note that eligible characters must appear in 2D content, such as anime (TV broadcast, movies, streaming, OVA, etc.), games, CD series, or manga.
*Only one response per person, please.
Basic information like gender and age are optional, and you are welcome to leave them unanswered. Everyone is encouraged to participate!
The deadline for submissions is November 10th. We will publish the survey results as soon as they are compiled, so look forward to it!
2022 Results
This survey is part of a larger effort to gauge reader interest and attention towards current anime works and characters. The results are not intended to rank any character or work above another. We hope this article can serve as an opportunity for readers to discover new works and characters, or to deepen their understanding and interest.
