Exquisite Design Details
The watch’s dial is a visual marvel, designed to evoke the front view of the “500 TYPE EVA-02.” It features a striking gradient of black, reminiscent of the Shinkansen’s windshield, blending into a vibrant red that distinctly calls to mind Evangelion Unit-02. The iconic long nose of the 500 series Shinkansen is cleverly expressed by a parabolic line that connects the three subdials, which themselves are styled after the instruments found in a cockpit.
