The anime Ossan Kensei is based on the popular light novel series by Sagasaki Shigeru with illustrations by Nabeshima Tetsuhiro, which has sold over 8 million copies across the series. The story follows Beryl Gardenant (CV: Hirata Hiroaki), a humble middle-aged sword master running a dojo in the countryside. Thanks to his former disciple, he is appointed as a special instructor for the Kingdom’s Knight Order, leading him to face various powerful foes.

Synopsis:
With the arrival of the delegation from the neighboring country, Aryuushia asks Beryl for his cooperation in guarding the important figures.
Due to his position, Beryl cannot refuse. Aryuushia emphasizes the need for suitable attire for this mission, and the two go together to choose clothes for Beryl.
Time passes as if they were on a date, and the next day, Aryuushia makes a certain proposal to Beryl.
