Theme Song Details Revealed

Get ready for some great music! Singer-songwriter **krage** will be performing the opening theme titled “Gesshoku.” For the ending theme, **Myuk** will be taking the mic to perform the song “Marie.” Both of these theme songs were featured and previewed in the anime’s second promotional video.

Leading the production at **LandQ Studio** is director **Kitagawa Takayuki**. Handling the series composition and writing the script is **Ihara Kenta**. Character designs are being handled by **Satou Akiko**, and the music for the series is being composed by **Yumemi Kujira**.

The Original Story

The anime is based on the fantasy romance light novel series by **Tobirano**. The story first began its serialization on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2019. Futabasha later picked up the series for publication under their M Novels F label, starting with the first volume in April 2020. These volumes feature illustrations by **Murasaki Mai**. The eighth volume of the light novel was released on January 10.

Manga Adaptation

Fans can also enjoy a manga adaptation of the series, drawn by **Nakakura Chikage**. The manga started running on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website in July 2020. Futabasha published the eighth manga volume on December 25, and the ninth volume is scheduled to go on sale soon, on June 25.

English Release On The Horizon

For international readers, Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both the original light novel and the manga adaptation for English release. The first volume of the manga is currently scheduled to arrive on January 20, 2026.
