Necronomiko no Cosmic Horror Show takes place in the immersive world of a VR game, spinning a narrative centered around streamers (or 라이버 – raibaa, as they’re called). A brand new introduction to the story has just been unveiled, revealing the protagonist to be Kurono Miko, an under-the-radar, bottom-tier streamer. The series promises a thrilling death game pitting humanity against ancient, malevolent Evil Gods!

The released key visual is packed with impact, featuring various Evil Gods motifed after the chilling Cthulhu Mythos. The main promotional video, showcasing the latest footage from the anime, gives us a sneak peek at the opening and ending theme songs. When I first read the script, I felt like I could understand Miko, the protagonist, who is “straightforward and will do anything for their goal.” I think this is not just because I am also a streamer, but rather their stance as a human being at their core. I’ve definitely poured a different kind of power than usual into the song, especially in the vocals, channeling that feeling in a positive way. I hope you can really feel that almost painful straightforwardness!

I’m Vell, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to perform the ending theme song for the TV anime Necronomiko no Cosmic Horror Show. The song “PANDORA” is packed with the anime’s pop and chaotic world, like turning Pandora’s Box upside down. With Noa-san’s (from Colorful Peach) voice joining in, it turned out to be a fascinating song. I’d be thrilled if you could love it alongside the anime!

Cthulhu / Maimizaka Mayu Role: Ishimi Manaka-san

Despite the colorful and cute character designs, I think this is a thrilling work. As Cthulhu, I tried to express a bottomless dread within a sense of enjoyment, and as Mayu-chan, I aimed for innocence and a fluffy feeling. I had so much fun performing! This was a role I absolutely wanted to challenge myself with since the audition, so I was genuinely happy. Please enjoy being surprised with every episode!

Gua Role: Itou Ayasa-san

From the very first episode, it’s a series of shocks, and I was instantly drawn into the world of the work! Gua, whom I’m playing, is one of the mysterious Evil Gods. They speak in the Kyoto dialect and apparently eat a lot…? Please look forward to their活躍 (kachuyaku – active role/performance)! And I’d be happy if you could enjoy the “heart-pounding and thrilling feeling” of this work together with me!
