Get ready for a thrilling Halloween! Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has announced that its “Halloween Event 2025” will kick off sequentially starting September 4, 2025. The highly anticipated “Halloween Horror Night,” beginning September 5, will see the return of the wildly popular collaboration with the anime Chainsaw Man. Adding to the excitement, a brand new greeting featuring the original character “Halloween Horror Night Devil” from the “Chainsaw Man The Chaos 4-D” attraction will debut.
USJ’s Halloween events began in 2002, with the first “Halloween Horror Night” held in 2011. Each year, this event has evolved in quality, storytelling, and scale, building an overwhelming world view and consistently producing unique, innovative entertainment. In 2018, the “Zombie de Dance,” where massive hordes of zombies dance wildly, became a social phenomenon, collaborating with popular artists. USJ has truly invigorated Halloween in Japan and introduced new ways to enjoy the season.
Chainsaw Man Returns with Amplified Terror!
This autumn’s “Halloween Event 2025” promises to escalate the fear level of “Halloween Horror Night” even further, delivering incredibly stimulating experiences on a unique scale that will make you forget everything else. As part of this, the collaboration with the anime Chainsaw Man makes its grand return. In the 4D attraction “Chainsaw Man The Chaos 4-D,” visitors will witness a battle where Denji, Aki, Power, and Kobeni confront a zombie army led by the “Halloween Horror Night Devil,” who appears in the park.
For those seeking intense screams, the ride attraction “Chainsaw Man × Hollywood Dream The Ride ~KICK BACK: Japanese Sword VS Chainsaw ver.~” will combine the intense exchange between Chainsaw Man and Samurai Sword with the powerful theme song “KICK BACK” blasting through the speakers.
Furthermore, “Chainsaw Man × Hollywood Dream The Ride ~KICK BACK~” will offer even greater thrills by featuring “KICK BACK” on the backward-facing scream coaster, “Hollywood Dream The Ride ~Backdrop~.”
Meet the New Halloween Horror Night Devil!
This year also marks the exciting debut of “Smileys Happy Halloween Greeting,” where the “Halloween Horror Night Devil,” an original character from “Chainsaw Man The Chaos 4-D,” will leap out from the attraction and appear on the streets! This is a completely new addition to the lineup.
With the return of the popular attractions and this new greeting, it seems visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Chainsaw Man even more deeply than last year!
