The TV anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025, and a rerun has been airing since April. It has now been revealed that the second opening theme for this rerun will be “Last Look” by Suda Keina. This song will be used starting from the broadcast on June 26th, with digital distribution of the track beginning on July 16th.

About Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is a TV anime based on the manga by Matsui Yuusei, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 2012 to 2016. The story follows the bizarre daily life of the students of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, known as the “Assassination Classroom,” where all the students aim to assassinate their homeroom teacher, a mysterious super-creature named Koro-sensei. The original manga series has exceeded 27 million copies in cumulative circulation and continues to captivate many fans. The TV anime first aired on Fuji TV and other networks in January 2015, marking its 10th broadcasting anniversary in 2025.
10th Anniversary Project & Rerun Details
To commemorate its 10th anniversary, the Ansatsu Kyoushitsu anime project is underway with “Anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu 10th Anniversary Time”. The first of the three major anniversary initiatives is the rerun of all 47 episodes of the TV anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, which began in April.
It was recently announced that the second opening theme for this rerun will be “Last Look” by Suda Keina. This new theme song is set to debut in the episode airing on June 26th, and digital distribution of the track will commence on July 16th.
About Suda Keina
Suda Keina started his activities as a Vocaloid producer under the name “Balloon” on Niconico Douga in 2013. His representative song “Charles,” including his self-cover version, has amassed approximately 150 million views on YouTube to date. He began his activities under his own name, Suda Keina, singing songs he wrote with his own voice, in October 2017. Suda Keina handles the lyrics, composition, and arrangement for all his songs himself. His music features addictive, unexpectedly bold yet meticulously crafted sounds, accompanied by lyrics and melodies that resonate with listeners from a subtle distance. He has gained significant support, particularly among young people aged 10 to 20.
Regarding the new song, Suda-san commented, “I created music that captures the sense of omnipotence that suddenly resides within a moment when you must break through common sense to move forward.” With the anime rerun gaining momentum, anticipation is high for the new song and the accompanying opening video.

I had the opportunity to write “Last Look,” the second opening theme for the TV anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu rerun.
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is a work that has been very familiar to me for a long time.
Amidst the back-and-forth between humor and tension, it constantly feels like it’s posing questions to the viewer.
That is, it’s kindness, and even a perspective on life itself.
This time, for the special occasion of the “rerun,” I faced the work again, reinterpreting it.
I created music that captures the sense of omnipotence that suddenly resides within a moment when you must break through common sense to move forward.
