Get ready, fans! It has been decided that the entire run of the TV anime series Majikku Kaito and Majikku Kaito 1412 will be available for free streaming. Starting from June 21st, 2025, you can catch two episodes daily on ABEMA.

Majikku Kaito is a manga by Aoyama Gosho, which has been irregularly serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” since 1987. The story follows the protagonist, Kuroba Kaito, who takes on the identity of the Kaitou Kid to uncover the truth behind his deceased father’s death. Kaitou Kid is also a recurring character in the popular series Meitantei Konan (Detective Conan), where he shares a complex relationship with the protagonist, Edogawa Konan, sometimes clashing and sometimes cooperating.

The manga was adapted into TV anime with Majikku Kaito airing in 2010 and Majikku Kaito 1412 in 2014. These anime delve into Kuroba Kaito’s everyday life, his thrilling capers as the Kaitou Kid, and even reveal the secrets behind the birth of the Kaitou Kid persona. They are certainly a must-watch for fans of Meitantei Konan as well!

ABEMA has decided to offer a free streaming event for all episodes of both Majikku Kaito and Majikku Kaito 1412. This special event kicks off on June 21st, which happens to be Kaitou Kid’s birthday, and will run for 18 days, with two episodes being streamed daily.
