Which Anime Do You Want to See as a Game? Survey Deadline: July 4th [#FamicomDay]
July 15th marks “Famicom Day”.
On the same day in 1983, Nintendo released their home video game console, the “Family Computer”. This year, the release of Nintendo’s latest system, the “Nintendo Switch 2”, has also become a big topic of conversation.
Within the history of video games, there have been numerous instances where anime series have been adapted into games. The ability to enjoy the story and world in a different format is a major appeal for fans.
From the appearance of game-original characters and alternate “what-if” storylines different from the main series, to enjoying the events that unfold “after” the anime concludes… the charm of games based on anime is truly diverse.
With that in mind, Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “Which anime do you want to be made into a game?” Please provide the title you have in mind in a free-response format.
*The survey is open to anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVAs, etc.).
*Works that have already been made into games are also eligible.
*Please limit your response to one per person.
Basic information such as gender and age are optional, and you can choose not to answer. Please feel free to participate!
The deadline is July 4th. We will publish the survey results as soon as they are compiled. Please look forward to it!
This survey is part of a consciousness survey regarding readers’ “current interest and attention” towards anime works and characters. The results are not intended to determine superiority or inferiority among any characters or works. We hope this article serves as an opportunity to discover new works and characters, or deepen understanding and interest.
