Kanojo, Okarishimasu is a romantic comedy based on the manga by Miyajima Reiji, serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shounen Magazine”. The story follows the hapless college student Kinoshita Kazuya, whose life takes a dramatic turn after he introduces the pure and lovely “rental” girlfriend (RenKano), Suihara Chizuru, as his *actual* girlfriend to his family and friends.
The TV anime adaptation first aired its initial season in July 2020, quickly gaining popularity for the adorable charm of its heroines. Season 2 followed in July 2022, and Season 3 in July 2023. The series continues to be immensely popular, with the official TV anime X (formerly Twitter) account boasting over 350,000 followers and the original manga surpassing 13.5 million copies printed worldwide.
The highly anticipated Season 4, set to air in two split cours starting in July 2025, will see Kazuya finally make a “resolve” towards Chizuru after successfully funding their film project via crowdfunding. Meanwhile, the slightly forceful (temporary) girlfriend, Sarashina Ruka, becomes even more aggressively forward with Kazuya. Adding to the tension, the devilish former girlfriend, Nanami Mami, who knows about Kazuya and Chizuru’s “true” relationship, gets dangerously close to Chizuru. The story heats up, drawing others into the drama, and the stage moves to “Hawaiians” (a resort).

Each dakimakura cover is priced at 14,300 yen (tax included). They are available as made-to-order products on the EC site “FaNeMa”. The reservation period is from Friday, June 27, 2025, to Monday, July 28, 2025. Shipping is scheduled to begin sequentially from mid-September 2025.
