This exciting event will take place from July 19 to August 31, 2025, across seven Tokyu Hotels & Resorts locations in six cities nationwide in Japan. Reservations officially kicked off on July 1 at 3:00 PM JST, so mark your calendars!
For those who might be new to the phenomenon, Kimetsu no Yaiba is an anime adaptation based on Gotoge Koyoharu’s manga serialized in Shueisha’s “Jump Comics”. With over 150 million copies in circulation across 23 volumes, it’s a true bestseller. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a young boy whose family is slain by demons. His sister, Nezuko, survives but is turned into a demon. Tanjiro joins the Kisatsutai (Demon Slayer Corps) to fight demons and find a way to restore Nezuko’s humanity. The series captivates audiences with its poignant tale of humans and demons, intense sword fighting action, charming characters, and occasional moments of comic relief.

The anime series, animated by ufotable, began with Television Anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba" Kamado Tanjiro Risshi Hen in April 2019 and has continued to expand since then. Following Television Anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba" Hashira Geiko Hen, which aired from May 2024, the next story arc, Gekijouban "Kimetsu no Yaiba" Mugenjou Hen, is being produced as a three-part film series. The first chapter, Akaza Sairai, is set to premiere on July 18, 2025. The stage for this climactic battle is the terrifying Mugenjou (Infinity Castle), the demons’ stronghold where Tanjiro and his companions find themselves falling, marking the start of the final confrontation between the Kisatsutai and the demons.

This “Kimetsu no Yaiba x Tokyu Hotels Special Buffet 2025” is specifically held to commemorate the nationwide theatrical release of the first chapter of the Mugenjou Arc on July 18. The buffet will feature a delectable array of dishes and sweets inspired by the characters of the Kisatsutai and the demons. These creative culinary delights were originally conceived at Kichijoji Excel Hotel Tokyu, one of the participating hotels.

The buffet lineup includes dishes like the “Roast Pork” inspired by Kamado Nezuko, finished with a pink Beni Shoga sauce, and a “Cheesecake” reminiscent of Agatsuma Zenitsu’s haori (jacket) pattern and colors. You can also savor Tomioka Giyuu’s favorite, “Salmon Daikon”, which is adorned with green onion and lemon slices to evoke his distinct haori.

Beyond these, you’ll find an “Akaza’s Beets Croquette” and other dishes with motifs inspired by Kibutsuji Muzan and various demons. Prepare for a truly immersive experience that will delight both your eyes and your taste buds!
竈門炭治郎「炭治郎の岩切ローストビーフ」
Adding to the excitement is a revival menu item from a previous collaboration: the “Tanjiro’s Rock Cutting Roast Beef”. Packed with the rich flavor of meat, this dish is a limited offering inspired by the scene where Tanjiro trains under Urokodaki Sakonji and cuts a large rock. Chefs will carve and serve this dish fresh for guests.
