July 19th is “Yamanashi Peach Day”.
Since the number 100 can be read as “momo” (peach), July 19th was chosen as it is the 200th day of the year (a multiple of 100) and coincides with the delicious peach shipping season. Furthermore, since July is the peak season for enjoying peaches, there are multiple related anniversaries; July 13th and July 26th are designated as “Fukushima Peach Day”.
In the world of anime, there are also many characters connected to peaches. This includes characters based on peach motifs, those named “Momo” or similar, and those with episodes revolving around peaches. The ways they are depicted are quite diverse.
Therefore, Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader poll titled “Speaking of ‘Peach’ Characters?”. This will be a free-response survey, so please provide the name of the character and the title of the work you have in mind.
※The scope of responses includes characters appearing in anime works (TV broadcasts, movies, streaming, OVA, etc.), games, CD series, manga, and other 2D content.
※Please limit your response to one submission per person.
Basic information such as gender and age are optional fields, and you may choose not to answer. Please feel free to participate!
The deadline is July 7th. We will publish the survey results as soon as they are compiled. Please look forward to it.

※This survey is part of a consciousness study regarding readers’ “current interest in and attention to anime works and characters”. The results are not intended to determine superiority or inferiority between any characters or works. We hope this article serves as an opportunity to introduce new works and characters, or to deepen your understanding and interest further.
